1 crore people in India succumbed to the Spanish flu 102 yrs back when the total population was only 22 crore.
The mortality in 1918 Spanish flu was in healthy very young < 5yrs and then between 20-40 yrs which had a "W" curve, there were various theories suggested but still an unsolved mystery.
Very informative content.
Looks like history is repeating itself after 100 years.
